Tri Bbq (三宝烧味)

I ordered the roast pork and sausage today and they were SO good! Super tasty, juicy, and the portion size was really decent. My friends got the duck and they said it was delicious too. Definitely worth trying!

Good Hong Kong style BBQ with a wider variety of options than the average HK BBQ restaurant/shop.

Tri BBQ serves HK style BBQ meats with rice or noodles. The soup that comes with each meal was really tasty, the broth had a lot of flavour. The BBQ pork was a bit dry but flavour was okay. The duck and roast pork was alright, the skin was fairly crispy and not too fatty. Similar to what other customers have said the food is good for Brisbane standards but not the best. It is kind of pricey between $15-19 per dish. But the portions are generous and flavours are well balanced. Reminder, there's a 15% surcharge on public holidays. Customer service was good and tables were very clean. Water and cutlery were all self service.

The Tri BBQ set was just delicious! Customer service was excellent too! It did take us a while to wait for the food to arrive but it is definitely worth the wait!

We ordered roast duck, roast pork and BBQ pork that was very tasty. The dry noodle was delicious and chewy, the rice and noodle we've ordered comes with vegetable soup too. One of the best HK style BBQ restaurant in south side, while the portions is good but the price is relatively high.

I decided to try Tri BBQ after seeing how busy it was when in the area to dine nearby. Unfortunately when we visited for dinner almost everything was sold out! I took that as an indicator of how good it must be. Food arrived promptly with a free little broth to start. I had the charsiu and sausage with dry noodles. The charsiu was a little on the dry side, but flavour was great nonetheless. The star was the perfectly cooked, chewy noodles - I would happily eat those alone! Will need to visit again for another taste and more selection.

I think you could find better HK style roast meat places out there in Sunnybank but I liked this place. Portion is not bad; it’s not necessarily cheap but for what it is worth, it does hit the spot! The flavours are great, soup is good and noodles are chewy and Al Dante! There aren’t a lot of options on the menu but what they make, they make it good! I tried the duck, pork and chicken - they were flavourful! A positive find indeed!

Always wanted to try this out since it's on the way home from work everyday. Ordered a three treasure rice with roast pork, duck leg, and pork neck. The roast pork was average, the skin was not the crispiest but the flavour was great. The duck leg was alright. Some of the pieces weren't chopped all the way, made it a little hard to eat. The pork neck however was excellent! Good quality meat, great flavour, cooked very well done, very tender. Overall a 4-star, although it may not be a perfect Cantonese BBQ restaurant, but I think it's amongst the best in Brisbane.
